Space Studies Board – in coordination with the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board of the National Research Council for NEO: Asking for Input

The Space Studies Board in coordination with the Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board of the National Research Council is studying NEOs for the United States Congress. They are now asking for ideas regarding survey, detect and characterize NEOs, as well as potential mission concepts for deflection/mitigation of Earth-smacking objects.

The deadline for ideas is March 20, 2009. The Committee asks that Letters of Intent be sent by January 30, 2009.
